What is Number of Tasks Completed?
An easy but interesting KPI to have. It keeps track of the number of tasks that each employee has completed over a period of time. Even though it is a useful metric for every department to keep track of their performance, it’s often used by developers. This might be due to the number of pending tasks they have compared with the rest of the departments. After all, they usually have a bunch of small - or more relevant - tasks to be done here and there.
It’s also a good indicator for a manager to take into account because it shows how efficient each department has been in the last period. Having this overview, one can temporarily allocate more resources into one department, or pass some work to the least stressed ones.
