Step 1: Get an API token from Telavox
To integrate Telavox with Plecto, you need to use an API token from your Telavox account.
-
In Telavox, go to My Account > Username and Password > Manage tokens to create an API token (read Telavox docs for more information).
-
Copy the token immediately as it will only be shown once.
-
Move to Step 2.
Step 2: Integrate Telavox with Plecto
-
Go to Data sources > New data source > Telavox.
-
(Optional) Rename your credentials.
-
Insert the API token you copied from Telavox and click Next.
-
Select the data you want to import.
-
Configure your data source settings. Here, you can change the title, choose the default date, select which fields to import, and more.
-
Click Next to choose how much data to import and how long you want to keep it in the data source.
-
Click Import to finish.
Telavox limitations. If you want to track multiple phone numbers, repeat these steps and create a new data source for each number you want to track. Telavox API works in a way where it fetches information connected to one user (the one authenticated) meaning that one data source would get the data for only one number.
