Amazon Athena

Integrate Amazon Athena with Plecto

1. Go to Data sources > New data source > AWS Athena.

2. Give your data source a name.

3. Fill out the following credentials.

   1. AWS Access Key ID and Secret Access Key: Use the credentials associated with the IAM user you're logged in as.

   2. Region name: Use the same AWS Region for Athena as the one used for the bucket in Amazon S3.

   3. Schema name: Enter the name of your database.

   4. S3 staging directory: Enter the query result location in AWS. You can find this in the console for Amazon Athena.

4. Click Continue to get to the new data source settings. From there, you can write SQL statements, import more data, and more.
